ANNA KARDASHYAN

Anna Kardashyan is a senior at South Anchorage High School, where she is involved in many academic activities. She competes in informational speaking, is a state champion in Policy Debate, and serves as the captain of the Speech and Debate team. Anna has also represented Alaska as a U.S. Senate Page for Senator Lisa Murkowski and as a senator in the American Legion Auxiliary Girls Nation program.

Beyond academics and debate, Anna is dedicated to community service. She serves as a presiding judge and is a member of the Board of Directors for Anchorage Youth Court. Passionate about Arctic policy, Anna plans to major in international relations and political science in college, with the goal of pursuing a law degree. In her free time, Anna enjoys hiking, biking, and running through Alaska’s scenic trails.

Anna will attend Stanford University in Fall 2025 and is a recipient of the Coca-Cola Scholars Program, a national scholarship competition focused on leadership, service, and a commitment to impacting one’s community.
